Menasha Corporation Foundation Announces Funding for Local Organizations

The Menasha Corporation Foundation today announced the following donations to Fox Cities-area organizations:

• $15,000 to the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic to increase the number of patients treated in 2007 and for general operating expenses;
• $10,000 to St. Joseph Food Program for its Cereal/Milk Program, which provides fresh milk and cereal for more than 3,000 people each week; and
• Eight additional donations of smaller amounts to various organizations.
  

"The Tri-County Community Dental Clinic and the St. Joseph Food Program offer vital services to thousands of residents in our community and we are proud to join them in providing valued assistance," said Ralph L. Evans, Foundation president. "The Foundation board of directors recognizes the increasing demand for services in our area and is pleased to be able to help fill the growing void in funding for a number of organizations."

The Foundation re-aligned its funding categories earlier this year in support of its Philanthropic Vision and currently focuses giving in four areas: safe and healthy citizens, an educated society, community betterment and environmental sustainability.

The Menasha Corporation Foundation is an independent grant-making organization serving the philanthropic interests of Menasha Corporation, Neenah, WI. Menasha Corporation's founder, Elisha D. Smith, was a visionary and philanthropist who supported benevolent endeavors and educational institutions that reached far beyond the company's hometown in Menasha, WI. In 1953, Menasha Corporation's philanthropic efforts were organized into a Foundation.
