Contact: Nancy Whitton Menasha Corporation Foundation Announces Scholarship Winners May 1, 2007 The Menasha Corporation Foundation today announced the recipients of its annual scholarship program for 2007 high school graduates. The awards, which total $64,000 for 2007, provide either four-year or single-year scholarships of $3,000 per academic calendar. In making the announcement, Foundation President Ralph L. Evans, said, "We are extremely proud to continue the tradition of providing college scholarships to our employees' children who have achieved high academic performance. The Foundation has been providing scholarships to outstanding young people for 48 consecutive years as an extension of its support of future leaders." The Foundation accepts applications from employees of its four companies and their operating locations across the United States. Four-Year, $12,000 Scholarship One-Year, $3,000 Scholarship The Menasha Corporation Foundation is an independent grant-making organization serving the philanthropic interests of Menasha Corporation, Neenah, WI. Menasha Corporation's founder, Elisha D. Smith, was a visionary and philanthropist who supported benevolent endeavors and educational institutions that reached far beyond the company's hometown in Menasha, WI. In 1953, Menasha Corporation's philanthropic efforts were organized into a Foundation.
