MENASHA CORPORATION FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES

FUNDING FOR FOX-CITIES AREA ORGANIZATIONS

NEENAH, WI…..The Menasha Corporation Foundation today announced donations to several Fox Cities-area organizations:

  • $10,000 to Reach Counseling services to match funds for counseling and advocacy programs

  • $10,000 to the Miracle League of the Fox Valley for a specialized baseball field for children with mental or physical disabilities

  • $7,000 to the White Heron Chorale for sponsorship of its Christmas concert

  • $5,000 each to Youth Go, Family Services of Northeastern Wisconsin, Harbor House, and Rebuild Together Fox Valley

  • Additional grants were made to Boys and Girls Club-Oshkosh, Fox Valley Symphony, Volunteer Center, Wisconsin Interfaith Needs Response and Theda Clark Medical Center Foundation

“We are proud to continue our support of a wide range of organizations that provide services that are needed by so many residents in our local community,” said Ralph L. Evans, Foundation president.  “The organizations we support have an excellent record of providing essential services as well as bringing cultural activities to the community.”

The Menasha Corporation Foundation is an independent grant-making organization serving the philanthropic interests of Menasha Corporation, Neenah, Wisc.  Menasha Corporation’s founder, Elisha D. Smith, was a visionary and philanthropist who supported benevolent endeavors and educational institutions that reached far beyond the company’s hometown in Menasha, Wisc.  In 1953, Menasha Corporation’s philanthropic efforts were organized into a Foundation.
